Xabiso Matewu

As a Systems Engineer in Service Provider Accounts in Sub-Saharan Africa, Xabiso partners with Account Leads in a pre-sales technical role showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers, designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs. He is a customer-focused technical sales professional who provides technical support, mentorship to customers and collaborates with the Account Stakeholders to develop appropriate customer solution offerings on large and complex opportunities. He has an architectural perspective across the Cisco product portfolio and can craft specializations for specific opportunities. Xabiso has over 8 years of experience in Support, Networking and Cloud. When he is not doing market analysis, advising customers or building solutions, Xabiso enjoys cycling, biking and research. Finally, Xabiso is keen to help solve some of the industry’s most challenging problems particularly the African predicament of the digital divide. Xabiso holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technnology from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering. Xabiso currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa.
